Garage Door Installation and Painting

This project was completed for Teddy at a residential property in Honeydew, Roodepoort, combining a new garage door installation with a full painting service across the surrounding area.

The old garage door was outdated and no longer operating smoothly, so the brief was to replace it entirely and refresh the surrounding brickwork and trim with a new coat of paint, giving the front of the property a more modern, cohesive look.

Our team removed the old door and fitted the new one, carefully setting the tracks and frame in place before checking alignment and balance to ensure smooth, quiet operation. Once the installation was confirmed to be running correctly, we moved on to the painting works, covering the surrounding surfaces to complement the new door and tie the whole entrance area together.

The existing frame had shifted slightly out of true over the years, which meant our team had to make small adjustments during installation to ensure the new door sat correctly and operated without catching or straining.

Coordinating the painting works around the installation required careful sequencing, so surfaces were only painted once the door fitting was fully complete and confirmed to be working correctly.
