Wallpaper Installation and Surface Preparation

This project involved professional wallpaper installation for Refiloe at a residential property in Norkem Park, Kempton Park.

Our scope covered the full process from start to finish, beginning with detailed surface preparation and ending with a precise, seamless wallpaper installation. The client wanted a clean, contemporary look for the space without compromising on the quality of the finish.

Before any wallpaper could go up, our team inspected the walls for imperfections, filled small cracks and dents, sanded down uneven patches, and gave every surface a thorough clean to remove dust and residue. This preparation stage is often overlooked, but it is what determines whether a wallpaper installation lasts for years or starts lifting within months.

Once the walls were properly primed and ready, we moved on to the installation itself, working panel by panel to keep pattern lines and seams perfectly aligned. Extra care was taken around light switches, plug points, and corners, where most installation mistakes tend to show up.
